With more than two decades of hits, musical icon Chevelle will deliver its patented rock anthems to fairgoers this summer with the group scheduled to light up Suburban Park Stage on Saturday, August 24 at 8:00 p.m.

Chevelle, which is no stranger to Central New York having performed at The Fair in 2017 and again in 2022, has earned its place in American rock music history with eight of its albums certified as Multi-Platinum, Platinum, and Gold.  Additionally, Chevelle has produced seven number one hits, 17 top-10 tracks, and has sold millions of albums worldwide.

The outfit, consisting of brothers Pete and Sam Loeffler, has built an impressive catalogue of hits including its multi-platinum album “Wonder What’s Next” and the platinum follow-up “This Type of Thinking Could Do Us In,” which debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Top 200. Chevelle continued to produce critically acclaimed music with its album “Vena Sera,” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Rock Albums chart while “Sci-Fi Crimes” reached No. 2 on the same chart in 2009.  In 2011, Chevelle found similar success with “Hats off to the Bull,” which climbed to No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200. The group scored its first No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart and came in at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 with the release of “La Gargola” in 2014. They went on to land the top spot again on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart in 2016 with the release of “The North Corridor.”

More recently, Chevelle recorded its newest album, “NIRATIAS,” which has been well received by both critics and fans.
