Guitarist Dickey Betts has cancelled his appearance at the 2018 Great New York State Fair and the remaining dates on his current tour due to illness, according to his tour management. The Fair is attempting to replace the show, which was scheduled for Tuesday, August 28 at 8 p.m. “I know the thoughts of all of Dickey Betts’s fans are with him as we wish him a speedy recovery. Our Chevy Court stage will always be open to him,” said Troy Waffner, Acting Fair Director.
