ADVISORY: Time Change for All Time Low Concert

The concert by All Time Low, originally set for 8 p.m. Thursday, August 23 on the Experience Stage in the New York Experience festival grounds has been moved back to a 6 p.m. start time the same day. Scars & Stripes will switch places with All Time Low, starting at 8:15 p.m.  The bands Formerly Un-Named and Pale Green Stars open the show, beginning at 2:45 p.m.

“We’re pleased with this change as it will give fairgoers some great choices – catch All Time Low at 6 p.m. and get to Chevy Court for the 8 p.m. show from the Tedeschi Trucks Band, or stay there to enjoy what will be a longer set from Scars & Stripes and the nightly Drone Light Show at the end of the evening in our beautiful festival area,” said Troy Waffner, Acting Fair Director.

About All Time Low

Formed in 2003, founding members Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, Zack Merrick and Rian Dawson have placed their last five albums in the top 10, including last year's "Last Young Renegade."  "There’s a very nostalgic quality to this record," Gaskarth said. "There are a lot of strings that tie each song together, which had to do with what we were going through at the time. All of these things were quietly affecting where my head was at creatively. The deaths of Prince, David Bowie, and George Michael and watching shows like Stranger Things brought me back to being a little kid. There are touches of those inspirations creeping across. It’s those emotions of sitting in front of the TV cross-legged at six-years-old watching Ghostbusters for the first time. That was a guiding force for how we wrote and approached this." “It wasn’t about recreating anything directly, but trying to simply reflect those emotions,” Barakat agreed. Gaskarth added, “We asked ourselves, ‘How do we not only get that feeling, but give it to people?’”

Known for unforgettable shows around the globe, the band has also ignited stages everywhere from Voodoo Music Experience to Warped Tour and on the road with blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Green Day and more.
