Buy a Thrilling Day On The Midway at The Great New York State Fair’s Cyber Monday Sale

Lowest Prices of the Year for Ride-All-Day Midway Wristband, Admission Tickets

The Great New York State Fair’s annual Cyber Monday sale helps package the fun and excitement of the Wade Shows Midway for Christmas this year.  The online-only sale, which begins at 6 a.m. Monday, November 27, offers weekday ride-all-day wristbands and admission tickets at the lowest prices of the year.  Weekday wristbands, which normally sell for $20 before the Fair and $25 during the Fair, will be on sale for $12.50. Only 5,000 wristbands are available. Also for sale on Cyber Monday will be admission tickets at $3 each.  These items will be for sale here at the Fair’s official and only online sales agent, Etix.com.  The sale ends at midnight Monday.

"If you love the thrill of the Midway rides, you won't get a better deal than this.  We have worked hard with our partners at Wade Shows to make our Midway the best in our long history and it will be even better next year. Tickets to the Fair also make a great stocking stuffer and something to look forward to during an Upstate New York winter," said Troy Waffner, Acting Director.

Frank Zaitshik, Wade Shows owner, said, "We are so pleased to partner with our friends at the New York State Fair to offer this incredible discount during the holidays.  The fair is such a wonderful gift for the people of New York and we can't wait to come back bigger and better in 2018.”

Wristband Sale

Wristband purchases are limited to four per purchase. Including sales tax and a service fee, each $12.50 wristband will cost $12.90 and each $3 ticket will cost $3.19.  Once purchased, tickets are not refundable and buyers should contact Etix customer service with questions.  Only 5,000 wristbands are available!

Those who buy a weekday ride-all-day wristband will receive a voucher they can print. The voucher must be taken to the Wade Shows customer service booth on the Midway to receive the bracelet. Bracelets are only good on weekdays, but can be upgraded for use on weekend days for $5 at the Wade Shows customer service booth. Bracelets do not include the Broadway Skyliner.

Wristbands are not recommended for children under 36" as there are a limited number of rides they can safely ride.  Parents with children under 48" should check the height requirements before purchasing to make an informed decision about whether wristbands are the best value for their children. The lineup for rides for the 2018 Fair has not been finalized, but information on the rides from the 2017 Fair, including height requirements, can be seen here.  Wade Shows offers a wristband good for 10 rides for $10 on Monday, August 28 and all rides for $1 on Labor Day, September 3.

Admission Tickets Sale

Purchases of $3 admission tickets are limited to eight per purchase. People buying admission tickets during this sale can either print them at home and give them to staff at a Fair gate for entry, or show the ticket on their phone to the gate staff.

Buyers should note the Fair’s admissions discount Dollar Days and Three Dollar Thursdays.  Admission is $1 on August 22 and September 3, the first and last days of the Fair, and is $3 on August 23 and August 30, the two Thursdays.  For the 2018 Fair, people who purchased an advance sale ticket from one of the Fair’s retail outlets or online for the 2017 Fair may use an unused ticket for admission.  This does not include free promotional passes.

Wade Shows is the third largest carnival company in America, as ranked by the industry publication Carnival Warehouse.  More than 5 million people enjoyed its rides, games and food at major fairs and festivals across the country in 2017.  Wade Shows has generated record ridership and provided record levels of revenue to the Fair since its arrival in 2014.  State Fair midway users love the carnival, giving it an all-time high 97% approval rating in this year's annual fairgoer survey.
