Music is in the air this year at The Great New York State Fair, and boy, what a lineup there is. Between head-banging rock, stomp-and-clap country, rising stars and legends you love growing old with, Chevy Court will have it all. The concert series runs August 21-September 2, with two shows each day. Oh, and if that isn’t enough—all concerts are free to fairgoers!
Mike Powell & The Black River
When a skilled songwriter teams up with the big, clean tones of full-blown band, you get Mike Powell & The Black River. Prepare to groove and sway to porch-party vibes perfect for the summer sun.

Bad Company
This rock supergroup has been entertaining audiences for more than 40 years, and it’s bringing the hits to the first night of the 2019 Great New York State Fair. Catch ‘em while you can—this is the only New York State stop in Bad Company’s 15-city tour.

Fun fact: The band’s name came from a picture of an innocent kid looking up at an objectionable character leaning against a lamppost. The picture’s caption read “beware of bad company.”

Devinne Meyers
An avid poet, Meyers grabbed a guitar at 16 and began blending folk, pop, soul, blues and more with an edgy yet compassionate vocal styling that resonated with listeners and turned her into a local favorite who’s played across the country.

Grace Potter

CNY Songbirds
Magic happens when CNY Songbirds Donna Colton, Maureen Henesey and Joanna Jewett blend their unique voices. No strangers to standing-room-only audiences, these three will create harmonies you won’t forget anytime soon.

Lindsey Stirling

The Brownskin Band with Joe Driscoll
A musical tornado of soul, funk and R&B, this band has been together since 2007 and shows no signs of slowing down. The rap and beatbox styling of Joe Driscoll brings even more flavor to the mix.

Smokepurpp
This Chicago-born Miami-raised rising rap star started out as a producer but quickly took up rapping on his own tracks while in high school. Catch this promising prospect to see what’s next in the world of rap.

Dropkick Murphys

Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone
For the fourth year in a row, one the most popular performers the Fair has ever seen is returning. Led by frontman Peter Noone, the British pop band has sold more than 52 million recordings. That’s a lot of success on one stage.

Midland
Hailing from Dripping Springs, TX, this country trio is a smooth concoction of California country, floating harmonies and heart-on-your-sleeve lyricism. Perfect for large crowds under open night skies, don’t miss their debut performance at this year’s Fair.

Blood, Sweat & Tears
What started as a jazz-rock experiment has become a decades-long musical adventure that’s found its way to The Great New York State Fair. If you haven’t already, it’s time to join in on the journey.

Farruko
This reggaeton and Latin pop singer hails from Puerto Rico and boasts more than 32 million monthly Spotify listeners. A product of the internet age, his online success gained him notoriety among record executives and the rest was history.

The Mavericks

Rap icon, actor and entrepreneur Ice Cube is coming to Chevy Court to spread his razor-sharp lyrics and legendary MC abilities. From his days with N.W.A. to his on-screen work in the Barbershop series, it makes you wonder if there’s anything this man can’t do.

Granger Smith
The leader of grassroots “Yee Yee Nation” himself, Granger Smith, is making his way to the Chevy Court stage after touring two years with country music king Luke Bryan.

Atkins Riot
New kids to the scene, Atkins Riot strings together creativity and rock to create music most people probably haven’t heard in a while. But what they’ve created is a tasty concoction you’ll want to hear again and again.

Theory of a Deadman
After their sixth studio album, Theory of a Deadman grew frustrated with the songs they were hearing on the alternative and hard rock charts. Now, thanks to the addition of a piano, their music has shifted gears and their newfound sound is ready to roll for a nighttime show at the Fair.

Sheila E.
Singer, percussionist and author—what can’t Sheila E do? After becoming a touring musician before the age of 20, Sheila performed with some of the most recognizable names in the business: Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé, just to name a few.

The Roots
You may have seen them every time you turn on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” but this legendary four-time GRAMMY-winning hip-hop group is much more than a house band. Formed by Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter and Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson in 1987, this Philly-based band’s live shows are frequently regarded as the best in the biz.

Gavin DeGraw
On the last night of The Great New York State Fair, there’s only one place to be—front and center at Chevy Court for Gavin DeGraw. His multiplatinum, soulful rock hits will serve as the perfect finale to the 2019 Chevy Court Concert Series.
