Country superstar LeAnn Rimes will bring her greatest hits and newest songs to the Chevy Court stage at the Great New York State Fair for an 8 p.m. performance on Thursday, August 31.
Rimes exploded onto the music scene at age 13 with “Blue,” a song that brought the soulfulness of Patsy Cline to a new generation and earned her a Grammy award the following year, making her the youngest-ever winner. Later that year, “How Do I Live” hit number two on the pop charts and is fourth on Billboard magazine’s list of the top 100 pop singles of all time. Her most recent album, “Remnants,” was released late last year.
Rimes’s performance takes place on the second Three Dollar Thursday, when admission to the Fair is just $3.
Concerts at Chevy Court are sponsored by Chevrolet.
