Megan Moroney will be back to bring her award-winning music to The Great New York State Fair’s Suburban Park on Monday, August 26 at 8:00 p.m.
One of country music’s biggest breakout stars, Moroney burst onto the scene in 2023 with her two-time platinum single “Tennessee Orange,” which went on to notch the Georgia native’s first number one song on the country music charts and was named one of the “100 best songs of 2023” by the Los Angeles Times.
Moroney, who was named New Female Artist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music (ACM) earlier this month, followed up the success of “Tennessee Orange” with her debut album, “Lucky.” Built on a timeless fusion of country, folk, and southern rock, the album has turned up on several best-of-the-year lists from leading outlets like The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Billboard. It features powerful tracks including her new hit “I’m Not Pretty,” which was praised by Billboard as a “cheeky, defiant clapback.”
With over 750 million global streams to date, Moroney is quickly becoming a household name after appearances on nationally-televised programs including Today, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Good Morning America. Her music has been nominated by Country Music Association (CMA), ACM, and Billboard Music Awards and she appeared at The GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles, California as part of its SPOTLIGHT series. She has been featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30, MusicRow’s Next Big Thing Class of 2024, and Country Radio Seminar’s New Faces of Country Music.
