The famed English reggae band will take the Chevy Court stage at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4.

The current UB40 lineup includes founding members Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue. Named for a British unemployment benefit form, the band gained popularity for producing pulsing reggae covers of original pop songs from the 1960s, along with original tunes.

The band scored with versions of the Temptations' "The Way You Do the Things You Do" and Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love," but their biggest hit may be their take on Neil Diamond's "Red, Red Wine," which topped the Billboard Top 100.

UB40 released more than 20 records through the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.

Concerts at Chevy Court are sponsored by Chevrolet.  All Chevy Court shows are free with Fair admission.
