About Juice WRLD

20-year-old genre-warping musician Juice WRLD established himself as a Chicago-area native who shunned major streaming services and built a massive following on Soundcloud. Within weeks of debuting a video for his smash hit “All Girls Are The Same” in February 2018, Juice landed a record deal with Interscope Records. Soon after signing, his May 2018-released single “Lucid Dreams,” and “All Girls Are The Same,” climbed to the #1 and #2 spots on Soundcloud’s Top 50 chart. As Juice WRLD continued his meteoric rise, those two tracks also brought his Billboard Hot 100 debut in late May, on the same day his first full-length project, “Goodbye & Good Riddance,” had its release via Grade A Productions/ Interscope Records.

Another triumph for Juice WRLD, “Goodbye & Good Riddance” quickly shot to the #6 spot on Apple Music’s worldwide Top Albums chart. “Lucid Dreams,” now certified five-times-platinum by the RIAA, spent over 45 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #2, and hit #1 on YouTube’s U.S. Top Songs Chart and #1 on Spotify’s Global Chart. The track earned a total of 1,107,288,803 combined video and audio streams last year, joining XXXTENTACION’s “SAD!” and Drake’s “God’s Plan” and “In My Feelings” on the list of songs surpassing 1 billion overall streams in the U.S. in 2018. “Goodbye & Good Riddance” has spent over 50 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart, peaking at #4. The album received critical acclaim from the New York Times, (“one of the year’s most effective hip-hop releases”,) Chicago Tribune (“Juice WRLD has captured the minds of [a] generation”,) USA Today, Billboard, Complex, FADER and more. Named Apple Music’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Spotify’s Biggest Breakout Artist of 2018, Juice WRLD amassed more than 1 billion streams on Spotify alone in 2018, with his songs earning 69 million hours of play for over 52 million fans in 65 countries.

On March 18, 2019, Juice’s second studio album, “Death Race For Love,” debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with 165K equivalent units. The album, released March 8 on Grade A Productions/ Interscope Records, marked the second-biggest streaming week of any 2019 released album to date, with over 200 million global streams. “Death Race For Love” includes the single “Robbery” which was released on February 13, and accumulated over 21 million global streams in its first week of release. “Robbery” now stands at over 470 million global audio and video streams.

Juice’s 2019 has been a whirlwind – in addition to his album debuting at #1, Juice opening for Nicki Minaj on her European tour, performed at Coachella for the first time, graced the cover of Billboard Magazine, and won Top New Artist at the Billboard Music Awards on May 1 in Las Vegas. He has been nominated for Top New Artist at the 2019 BET awards and is due to perform at the iHeartMedia awards in September.
