The Great New York State Fair and Chevrolet today announce a three-year, $525,000 sponsorship agreement with the Fair. The agreement involves rebranding the Fair’s two main music stages into a single festival. The new Chevrolet Music Festival at Chevy Court and the Experience Stage creates a festival involving more than 75 performances, highlighted by free shows from national touring acts such as Blondie, Counting Crows, Smokey Robinson, Niall Horan, Eddie Money, Hanson, All Time Low and many more. In addition, Chevrolet will continue to provide its top-of-the-line trucks to pull the Fair’s continuous trams, which allowed the Fair to make the trams free of charge to fairgoers.
“We are pleased to be able to continue our relationship with a great American brand such as Chevrolet. This partnership has been great for fairgoers as we have been able to bring more top quality national touring groups than ever to Chevy Court and eliminate fees on our trams. We thank Chevrolet for helping us to grow one of the nation’s greatest state fairs and look forward to the next three years,” said Troy Waffner, Acting Fair Director.
Schedules for the Chevrolet Music Festival at Chevy Court and the Experience Stage can be found here. The Fair’s trams run continuously on the road that rings the 375-acre fairground and are pulled by top-of-the-line Chevy Silverados.
