Singers/Musicians Papa Muse Duo

Papa Muse is a robust songwriter and a highly motivated bandleader from Ithaca NY with a clear vision of how to better the world. Singing about high ideals, humanitarianism, ecology, life lessons, and emotional ups and downs, the songs are relatable and inspiring. Papa Muse writes all of his songs on his acoustic guitar and then brings them to the band. And drummer Damian is almost always the first bandmate to hear and accompany him.

For this State Fair duo performance, Way "Papa Muse," will be singing and playing his trusty acoustic guitar while being accompanied by Damian "Massive" Dodge on cajon drum. Damian is not only Way's drummer in his band but is also a gifted vocalist and the two create thick and soothing harmonies that add warm and pleasant layers to the catchy melodies.

These musicians have an intense musical affinity and bond, having played together for nearly a decade. And "podmates" during the shutdown of Covid-19, the two would mask up and jam about 4 times a week, and now when they perform as an acoustic Duo, they have a vast vocabulary of originals & exciting cover songs to draw from.

Always interested in a challenge, the Papa Muse duo will be performing child-friendly songs for the State Fair as interlude for Steve Trash the famous kids entertainer. Expect a fun and inspiring set.
