Six-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Dionne Warwick, will grace the Chevy Court stage with a highly anticipated return performance on Labor Day, September 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Warwick, a legendary fixture in the American music scene, previously captivated fairgoers with an unforgettable show in 1999 and, after nearly three decades, is set to make her long-awaited return to The Great New York State Fair.
Dionne Warwick, with a storied career spanning over five decades, has solidified her legacy in the music industry with more than 75 charted hit songs and over 100 million records sold worldwide. Discovered by the songwriting duo Burt Bacharach and Hal David in 1961, Warwick turned pop and R&B hits like “Don’t Make Me Over,” “Walk on By,” and “Say a Little Prayer” into timeless classics. Her illustrious career is adorned with accolades, including her groundbreaking Grammy win in 1968 for “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?” and her significant contributions to charity singles “That’s What Friends Are For” and “We Are the World,” showcasing not only her musical prowess but her philanthropic efforts.
“We are always tuned in to our fairgoers’ requests for both fresh faces and legendary icons at The Fair,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “Dionne Warwick's performance on Chevy Court this summer is a testament to that and to the Fair’s dedication to bringing world-class talent to the heart of New York. As a six-time Grammy winner, Ms. Warwick embodies musical excellence, and we are thrilled to welcome her back to The New York State Fair for an iconic afternoon and a not-to-be-missed event.”
The Fair starts Wednesday, August 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. All concerts are included in the price of admission, which will go on sale later this summer. The Great New York State Fair is the most affordable state fair in the country. Tickets are $8 for adults while admission is free for children under 12 and senior citizens aged 65 and older.
In total, The Fair’s 2025 Chevrolet Music Series will feature 41 national recording acts.
