The Great New York State Fair announced the official launch of its new mobile app today, designed to be the ultimate companion for fairgoers. The app, now available for free download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, provides an interactive and user-friendly experience to help visitors purchase tickets, navigate the grounds, plan their day, and make the most of their time at the Fair.

"With all the incredible attractions, food, and entertainment we have to offer, this app will be an invaluable tool to help our visitors explore everything the Fair has to offer and create unforgettable memories."
The Great New York State Fair app is packed with features to simplify a fairgoer’s visit, including:
- Interactive Map: A GPS-enabled map of the Fairgrounds allows users to easily locate their favorite vendors, exhibits, restrooms, and more.
- Daily Schedule: A comprehensive, searchable schedule of events, concerts, and shows lets users plan their day and set reminders for must-see attractions.
- The Fair Finder Map - Food and Vendor Directory: Browse a complete list of all food vendors and merchants, with the ability to search by category or keyword.
- Ticket Information & Deals: Find information on admission tickets, special discounts, and daily promotions.
- Push Notifications: Stay up-to-minute with real-time alerts about important announcements, weather updates, and special events.
The app's development was driven by a desire to provide a modern, convenient resource that puts all the information a fairgoer needs right at their fingertips. The Fair starts Wednesday, August 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. All concerts are included in the price of admission. Tickets are on sale now at The Fair’s website, nysfair.ny.gov. Packed with value, a single admission ticket costs $8 and includes access to all grounds entertainment and the Chevrolet Music Series. In addition, a Frequent Fairgoer ticket option is available for $25.
The Fair continues to be one of the most affordable fairs in the nation, with admission remaining free for those aged 65 and older along with children 12 years old and under.
