With a career spanning over three decades and chart-topping hit singles, global pop icon Taylor Dayne is set to perform live at Chevy Court on Thursday, August 21 at 1:00 p.m. Representing multiple genres including Pop, Dance, R&B, Adult Contemporary and Rock with hits such as “Tell It To My Heart” and “Love Will Lead You Back,” Taylor Dayne’s crossover popularity and international success highlight the diverse lineup of artists that will perform at The Great New York State Fair this summer.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Taylor Dayne to the Fair to frontload our lineup of incredible performers this year,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “With her powerhouse vocals and distinct sound, she truly defined an era in the ‘80s and ‘90s, and we’re excited to bring her unique presence to the Chevy Court stage.”
Taylor Dayne’s debut single “Tell It To My Heart” turned her into an overnight international star. She followed the smash hit with seventeen Top 20 singles, including the #1 songs, “Love Will Lead You Back,” “Prove Your Love,” and “I’ll Always Love You.” She has sold over 75 million albums and singles worldwide, earned three Grammy nominations, an American Music Award, multiple New York Awards, received New York Hall of Fame honors, and ranked Number 18 in Rolling Stone magazine’s Best Female Dance Artists of All Time list.
The Fair starts Wednesday, August 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. All concerts are included in the price of admission.
