Open to Individuals and Community Groups Planning Single-Day Events
The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets today announced that single-day rental spaces are now available at the New York State Fairgrounds, expanding the site’s offerings as a premier year-round destination for events and community gatherings in the heart of New York State. These flexible, affordable one-day rental options allow guests to host special events in a variety of unique—and historic—venues across the 375-acre complex.
State Agriculture Commissioner Richard A. Ball said, “The Fairgrounds is an expansive and historic site that, while having deep ties to agriculture, provides great opportunities for events and other special activities of all kinds. The Department is excited to continue to promote the Fairgrounds as a leading event venue in New York.”
“This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to making the Fairgrounds a vibrant, community-centered destination throughout the entire year,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “We know that The Fair and Fairgrounds hold special memories for many New Yorkers, and we are excited to continue being part of those traditions all year long.”
Among the featured venues is the Empire Room, along with several other event spaces now available for personal and small group use, such as birthday parties, showers, anniversaries, reunions, and other special occasions. Each space offers its own distinct look and charm, with a range of sizes and features to accommodate both small and large gatherings. Venues currently available for booking include:
