Vendor Delivery & Parking Policies

Parking

UPDATED POLICIES ARE NOW IN EFFECT FOR THE 2026 FAIR

VEHICLE ACCESS AND DELIVERIES

The following policies will be in effect during Fair operations:

  • Vehicle Access Restrictions: Vehicles are not permitted inside the exterior perimeter of the fairgrounds from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. during Fair operations (August 26 – September 7, 2026), with exceptions for official New York State Fair and emergency vehicles (ambulances, fire apparatus, and police vehicles). These measures are part of our ongoing commitment to prioritize pedestrian safety.
  • Deliveries: Deliveries are permitted between 11:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. during Fair operations—a 30-minute change from the 2025 Fair delivery window.
  • Courtesy shuttles will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and can assist with the transport of materials from designated vendor parking lots to the interior of the Fairgrounds.
  • Golf Carts: Individuals utilizing golf carts must comply with the established use policy, which restricts operation to perimeter roads around the fairgrounds during Fair operations. Golf carts must also be parked out of sight of general Fair activity.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What happens if my vehicle isn’t moved by the 8:30 a.m. deadline?

Vehicles are subject to tow after 8:30 a.m. Towed vehicles can be found in the Gray Lot, and a release fee will be required. Parking or delivery credentials may be voided.

With these parking changes, how will mobility-challenged fairgoers or those with supplies access their exhibit?

Courtesy shuttles will be in service from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Operational details will be shared as The Fair approaches.

If we need to call a repair company after 8:30 a.m., how will they access my exhibit?
“Service & Repair” passes are coordinated through Fair Security for emergency repairs during The Fair’s operating hours. In addition, each individual entering The Fair must have a valid admission pass.

What is Purple Lot and can I access it?

For vendors and sponsors looking for additional accommodations, Purple Lot is located adjacent to the Infirmary, and behind the Horticulture Building inside the fence of the fairgrounds. This area has been designated for vendors and sponsors to store supplies used to replenish their booths and stands conveniently during operational hours of The Fair. It offers a limited number of electrical spaces for freezer/cooler containers/trailers for vendors who need additional storage for cold or frozen goods. Additionally, there are non-electric spaces for vendors that need storage that does not need to be temperature controlled. Space is limited, and the spaces are designated exclusively for storage vehicles that will remain on-site for the 13 days of The Fair. Parking vehicles intended to come-and-go from the Fair is strictly prohibited and could result in removal from the grounds and/or suspension of your credentials. Please inquire with our concessions team.
