Summer’s grandest celebration is getting closer, and fairgoers have one final chance to lock in savings before full price admission tickets go on sale. The Great New York State Fair today announced its Spring into Summer sale, running Thursday, June 18 through Monday, June 22, offering single-day admission tickets for just $6, a 25 percent savings on the regular admission price.
As anticipation builds for the 2026 Fair, visitors can take advantage of this limited-time offer and start planning their trip to New York's favorite summer tradition. Spanning 375 acres, The Great New York State Fair offers something for everyone, from to Fair-favorite agricultural exhibits and exciting Midway rides to delectable food, brand-new attractions as well as time-honored programming. Admission includes access to hundreds of exhibits and demonstrations, daily grounds entertainment, and the Chevrolet Music Series featuring dozens of national recording acts, including Grammy winners, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performers, and more. With so much included in the price of admission, The Fair continues to be one of the most affordable and value-packed fairs in the country.
Admission remains free for those aged 65 and older along with children 12 years old and under, providing an accessible space for the whole family to get offline and get outside.

HOW TO PURCHASE ADVANCE SALE TICKETS TO THE GREAT NEW YORK STATE FAIR
There are two ways to buy admission tickets and/or parking: online or over the phone:
- Online: The link to purchase advance sale admission tickets will go live at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, at The Great New York State Fair’s website.
- Over the Phone: Starting June 18, tickets may also be purchased over the phone by calling Etix toll-free at 1-800-514-3849 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Including fees, the total cost for fairgoers will be:
- Admission: $6.28 per ticket ($6 admission, ticket fee and credit card processing fees of 28 cents)
The Fair starts Wednesday, August 26, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 7.
