Chevy Court Goes “Golden” with Demon Hunters Tribute Group Moonlight Princesses

Moonlight Princesses 1

Get ready for a family-friendly performance inspired by the global phenomenon KPop Demon Hunters! The trio Moonlight Princesses will show fairgoers “how it’s done, done, done” with a high-energy, dance-filled tribute to the hit animated film at Chevy Court on Saturday, August 29, at 1 p.m. during The Great New York State Fair.

Demon Hunters became a worldwide sensation, earning critical acclaim and spending 52 weeks in Netflix’s Top 10. The film’s soundtrack also made a major impact, with four songs — “Golden,” “How It’s Done,” “Soda Pop,” and “Your Idol” — reaching the Billboard Hot 100. “Golden” topped the chart for eight consecutive weeks and won Best Original Song at the Critics' Choice Awards, Golden Globes, and Academy Awards, helping cement the film’s place as one of the most talked-about animated releases of 2025. The movie was also Netflix’s No. 1 kids’ film of the year.

Fans of all ages can enjoy dazzling choreography, powerful vocals, and the excitement of a live character-inspired concert experience from Moonlight Princesses, a tribute act inspired by the film’s HUNTR/X characters. This immersive, family-friendly performance brings the music and energy of Demon Hunters to life for audiences of every generation.

“We’re so excited for Moonlight Princesses to bring a show all families can enjoy,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “Their tribute will be a real treat for young fairgoers who love the music, energy, and excitement of the Demon Hunters phenomenon.”

The Fair starts Wednesday, August 26, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. All concerts are included in the price of admission, which will go on sale later this summer. The Great New York State Fair is the most affordable state fair in the country. Tickets are $8 for adults while admission is free for children under 12 and senior citizens aged 65 and older.

In total, The Fair’s 2026 Chevrolet Music Series will feature 41 national recording acts. There will be a daily 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. concert at Chevy Court (located near Gate 1), and an 8 p.m. concert each evening at Suburban Park (located on the western end of the Fairgrounds, beyond the Midway). The Fair will also host two special shows at 9 p.m. on Friday, August 28 and September 4 at Chevy Court.
