Make plans to “Stay” and enjoy a warm night under the stars, as the Songstress of Summer, Stella Lefty, takes the Chevy Court stage on Sunday, September 6 at 6 p.m. to make her Great New York State Fair debut.
Lefty is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter carving out a name with emotionally sharp songwriting and a sound that seamlessly blends pop sensibility with country storytelling. Her breakout single “Thinking ‘bout You” sparked major online traction and set the stage for follow-up “Boston,” which has now surpassed 214 million global streams and broke into the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. She now boasts more than 429 million global artist streams. Alongside her breakout streaming success, Lefty quickly built a reputation as a must-see live act thanks to her magnetic stage presence and songs that balance raw vulnerability with undeniable hooks. She has supported artists such as Alessi Rose, Jessie Murph, Cameron Whitcomb, and Wyatt Flores, including upcoming performance dates with Tucker Wetmore this summer.
Her new EP, Is This Heaven?, debuted at No. 9 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, making Lefty the first woman to earn an initial top 10 on the chart this year. Praised as a “country superstar” by Rolling Stone and “a name to remember” by UPROXX, Lefty is emerging as one of the most compelling new voices in country and pop.
“One of the best things about The Fair’s concerts is the ability to showcase rising talent,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “Welcoming Stella Lefty to Chevy Court is a huge win for us, and we look forward to giving her fans and new listeners alike the chance to enjoy her catchy sound.”
The Fair starts Wednesday, August 26, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. All concerts are included in the price of admission.
