The Deacon Doubleday exhibit features items from Deacon Doubleday’s “wired woodshed” radio promo from the early days of WSYR broadcasts. Deacon was a friendly and familiar voice for farmers and urban people every weekday morning starting at 5:00am. The exhibit also has audio snippets of the program with Deacon Doubleday’s voice.
